Shore hardness tester / Model number SST-D/SST-DD

The measurement time is the shortest at 4 to 5 seconds.

The Shore hardness tester generally belongs to what is called a rebound hardness tester, which measures hardness by dropping a diamond hammer weighing approximately 36 grams from a height of about 19 mm and measuring the rebound height of the hammer. The uniformity of the weight of the diamond hammer is high at ±1 gram, and it achieves high precision with a drop height of 19 mm ±0.3. Additionally, by maintaining high precision, it features high compatibility of parts, making it easy to replace the diamond hammer. It also adopts a unique mechanism that allows for easy adjustments of the machine, making maintenance straightforward.

Portable Shore Hardness Tester / Model Number SPS1

It does not choose the size or shape of the work.

● Compact, lightweight, and easy to operate. It has no structural failures. ● It is a portable type that is convenient to carry and can measure any size or shape of workpiece (sample). ● The hardness reading is Shore hardness. It can be easily converted to Rockwell, Brinell, and Vickers values using a hardness conversion table. * Items with a mass of 4 kg or less, hollow (thin-walled) items, and thin plates cannot be measured. ● Differentiation based on application The SPS1 is optimal for measuring the hardness of flat and curved surfaces (convex surfaces). It is convenient for cases where measurement of special shapes such as gear tooth bottoms is not required. The SPS2 has a contact part with the workpiece that is shaped with sharp angles. Therefore, it can measure the hardness of gear tooth bottoms (module 3 or higher) and special recesses. Additionally, by attaching a cap for flat surface measurement, it can also measure the hardness of flat surfaces and both curved surfaces (concave and convex).
